Making a Video using the PiCamera 
When in place  it will look like this 
Setting up - do this once only  
A) Connect  PiCamera cable to the the RaspPi       
B) Check Camera Option is enabled Start Raspberry Pi as normal then type sudo raspi-config in LXTerminal so we can enable camera.  continued........  
C) Load the code needed from the internet onto the SD card a) Log in again (if needed) and open LXTerminal b) type the following command sudo apt-get install python-picamera python3-picamera python- rpi.gpio  <+ enter>
To Make a Video called ‘vid’ Type  raspivid -t 5000 -w 720 -h 360 -b 90000 -o vid2.h264  <+ enter> This will record a video for 5 seconds, size 720x 360  called vid2 You can alter the parameters by altering the numbers and code
To View your Videos  You will need a suitable video player such as OMXPlayer (download this onto Raspberry Pi if not installed)  Then open up LXTeminal  and type omxplayer vid2.h246 to see the video just made.  (name being vid2)
To add cable a) lift the connector catch up b) place ribbon cable in with cable contacts forward as shown c) push catch down
When the list of options opens up,  use arrow keys to Enable Camera  (5th line down) then hit enter and then  enable. Choose yes after the reboot.
